Bangkok Hospital supports APHCON

APHCON reviews the practice guidelines for Aplastic Anemia

On August 31, 2012, the APHCON Aplastic Anemia (AA) Working Group led by Dr Surapol Issaragrisil and Dr Seiji Kojima reviewed the aplastic anemia practice guidelines for the APAC region. The team consisted of leading hematologists from the APAC region and revised the evidence based guidelines as well as recent data that is relevant to the AA patients. The guidelines will be made available online in 4 weeks for public.

APHCON Presidential Address at AUBH2012, Bangkok, Thailand

August 31, 2012 NAI LERT PARK Swissotel, Bangkok, Thailand: The first President of APHCON, Prof (Dr.) Xiao Jun Huang gave the first inauguration speech which marks the historic moment of formation of APHCON. Dr Huang shared his vision of a unified front that will empower the physicians to deliver improved care to their patients through the clinical trial network and will produce a new generation of upcoming young investigators through the educational opportunities provided by the preceptorship program and the regional and international conferences. In addition, APHCON will start providing career development grants starting in 2014. 
Dr Huang also announced that one -year free APHCON membership will be extended to all the delegates of AUBH2012, Bangkok.
