Weerasak Nawarawong, MD
Dr. Weerasak Nawarawong earned his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, Thailand, Thai Board of Internal Medicine, Thai Board of Hematology from the Medical Council of Thailand. He pursued his education as a fellow in Hematology at the Department of Medicine, School of Medicine, Temple University, in Philadelphia, USA. He is former Chairman of the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. His clinical interests focus on the treatment of hematologic malignancies, including multiple myeloma and lymphoma. Dr. Weerasak Nawarawong’s papers have been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Lancet Oncology, Haematologica, Am J Hematol, Leukemia Lymphoma. currently works as part time instructor at the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Thailand, the Thai Society of Hematology. He has served as President of the Thai Myeloma Working Group and Chair of Scientific Education Committee of the Thai Society of Hematology (2016-2018).
