Dr. Jianxiang Wang is also the Deputy Director of the Institute of Hematology and Blood Diseases Hospital, the vice president of Chinese Society of Hematology, the President of the Society of Hematological Malignancy of Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, and editor-in-chief of the Chinese Journal of Hematology. Dr. Wang is engaged in both clinical and basic research of leukemia. Dr. Wang discovered that the AML1-ETO binds to nuclear receptor corepressor (N-CoR), and is engaged by a number of oncoregulatory proteins. In clinical research, Dr. Wang is particularly interested in developing novel therapies for acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
